Our editors score each platform on five axes. Billing transparency, privacy, ad aggression, performer consent practices, and support quality. Scores are 1 (best) to 5 (worst). Updated at least quarterly.

How we score
Each platform gets 1 to 5 on five axes. A 1 is the best a platform can earn; a 5 is the worst. We sum the scores and divide by five for an overall band.
- Payment - billing descriptor discretion, refund record, chargeback history, no surprise cross-site billing.
- Privacy - what the privacy policy actually permits, tracker density on the landing page, data retention defaults.
- Ads - on-page ad aggression, popup frequency, malvertising incidents on record, adblock tolerance.
- Consent - 2257 compliance, performer identity verification, ethical production signals where visible.
- Support - email response time during our test, cancellation flow friction, refund responsiveness.
What an "excellent" band means
An excellent platform is one where our editors would hand the billing link to a friend without a warning attached. A "mixed" platform is one we might still recommend for the content, but with context about the trade-offs. A "poor" band means we would recommend against subscribing without reservations.
How often the audit updates
Every audit row is re-examined quarterly, with incidental re-checks when a platform changes its billing processor, privacy policy, or major UX. The date on each row is the last time a full five-axis pass was completed.
